a ţi aştepta voi până se vor face mari? Vă veţi păstra voi pentru ei, fără să vă măritaţi? Nu, copilele mele! Amărăciunea mea este prea mare pentru voi, căci mâna Domnului s-a întins împotriva mea!

Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the Lord is gone out against me.
