L ocuitorii din Şehem au pus la pândă pe vârfurile munţilor nişte oameni care-i jefuiau pe drumeţii ce treceau pe lângă ei. Lucrul acesta a fost adus la cunoştinţa lui Abimelek.

The men of Shechem set men in ambush against him on the tops of the mountains, and they robbed all who might pass by them along the road; and it was told to Abimelech.
