D upă ce a plecat Ehud, au venit slujitorii regelui, s-au uitat şi au observat că uşile odăii de pe acoperiş erau închise. Ei şi-au zis: „Cu siguranţă că el îşi acoperă picioarele în odaia de vară!“

When he was gone out, his servants came; and when they saw that, behold, the doors of the parlour were locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in his summer chamber.
