L -au părăsit pe Domnul, Dumnezeul strămoşilor lor, Care-i scosese din ţara Egiptului şi s-au dus după zei dintre zeii popoarelor care-i înconjurau. S-au închinat înaintea lor şi L-au mâniat pe Domnul.
