O amenii însă n-au vrut să-l asculte. Atunci călătorul şi-a înşfăcat ţiitoarea şi le-a scos-o afară. Ei au necinstit-o şi au abuzat de ea toată noaptea, până dimineaţa. Apoi, când a început să se crape de ziuă, au lăsat-o să plece.

And the men have not been willing to hearken to him, and the man taketh hold on his concubine, and bringeth out unto them without, and they know her, and roll themselves upon her all the night, till the morning, and send her away in the ascending of the dawn;
