D uhul Domnului a venit de îndată peste el şi s-a dus la Aşchelon. A ucis treizeci din oamenii lor şi le-a luat îmbrăcămintea. Apoi a dat schimburile de haine celor ce dezlegaseră ghicitoarea şi, aprins de mânie, s-a întors în casa tatălui său.

And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon and slew thirty men of them and took their apparel, and gave the changes of garments to those who explained the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.
