E l a avut treizeci de fii şi treizeci de fete. Fetele le-a măritat în afara clanului, iar fiii i-a căsătorit cu treizeci de femei din afara clanului. El a judecat pe Israel timp de şapte ani.

And he had thirty sons; and thirty daughters he sent abroad, and thirty daughters he brought in from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.
