I efta a plecat dinaintea fraţilor săi şi a locuit în ţara Tob. Acolo nişte bărbaţi de nimic s-au adunat pe lângă Iefta şi au început să-l însoţească.

Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain fellows to Jephthah, and they went out with him.
