S ă-i faci cetăţii Ai şi regelui ei la fel cum i-ai făcut Ierihonului şi regelui lui. Totuşi veţi putea păstra ca pradă de război lucrurile de preţ şi animalele. Pune oameni la pândă în spatele cetăţii.“

And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king; only the spoil thereof and the cattle thereof, ye shall take for yourselves. Lay thee an ambush for the city behind it.
