Î n ziua în care Domnul i-a dat pe amoriţi în mâna lui Israel, Iosua s-a adresat Domnului în prezenţa lui Israel: „Soare, rămâi nemişcat deasupra Ghivonului şi lună, rămâi peste valea Aialon.“
