I ată, noi îi considerăm fericiţi pe cei ce au perseverat. Aţi auzit de perseverenţa lui Iov şi aţi văzut care a fost scopul Domnului, căci Domnul este plin de îndurare şi milostiv.

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
