S pre deosebire de alţi mari preoţi, El nu are nevoie să aducă jertfe în fiecare zi – mai întâi pentru păcatele Sale, iar apoi pentru ale poporului – pentru că a făcut aceasta o dată pentru totdeauna, atunci când S-a jertfit pe Sine.

who has not day by day need, as the high priests, first to offer up sacrifices for his own sins, then those of the people; for this he did once for all having offered up himself.
