Deuteronom 9:18 ~ Deuteronomy 9:18

M -am aruncat cu faţa la pământ înaintea Domnului timp de patruzeci de zile şi patruzeci de nopţi. Nu am mâncat pâine şi nici nu am băut apă din cauza tuturor păcatelor pe care le-aţi săvârşit. Astfel aţi făcut ce este rău înaintea Domnului şi I-aţi provocat mânia.

And I fell down before the Lord, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
