A du-ţi aminte de fiecare drum pe care Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, te-a condus prin pustie în timpul acestor patruzeci de ani, ca să te smerească, să te încerce şi să cunoască ce este în inima ta şi să vadă dacă vei păzi poruncile Lui sau nu.

And thou shalt remember all the way which Jehovah thy God hath led thee these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble thee, to prove thee, to know what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or not.
