I osua, fiul lui Nun, era plin de duhul înţelepciunii, deoarece Moise îşi pusese mâinile peste el. Israeliţii au ascultat de el şi au împlinit ceea ce Domnul i-a poruncit prin Moise.

Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands on him. The children of Israel listened to him, and did as Yahweh commanded Moses.
