D omnul te va duce, pe tine şi pe regele pe care îl vei pune să domnească peste tine, la un neam pe care nu l-ai cunoscut nici tu, nici părinţii tăi. Acolo vei sluji altor dumnezei, idolilor din lemn şi din piatră.

Jehovah will bring thee, and thy king whom thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation that neither thou nor thy fathers have known, and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.
