« Ridică-te şi traversează uedul Arnon, pentru că l-am dat în mâinile tale pe Sihon amoritul, regele Heşbonului, împreună cu ţara lui. Începe cucerirea şi provoacă-l la luptă.

‘Now rise up and go on your way. Pass through the valley of Arnon. See, I have given you Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land. Begin to take it for your own, and fight with him in battle.
