C ăci aceasta este ceea ce aţi cerut de la Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, la Horeb în ziua adunării, când ziceaţi: «Să nu mai auzim glasul Domnului, Dumnezeul nostru, şi să nu mai vedem focul acesta mare ca să nu murim!»

This is what you asked of the Lord your God at Sinai on the day of the meeting, when you said, ‘Do not let me hear the voice of the Lord my God again. Do not let me see this fire any more, or I will die.’
