V oi să nu faceţi aşa faţă de Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, căci ele săvârşeau înaintea zeilor lor tot felul de lucruri îngrozitoare, pe care Domnul le urăşte. Ele îşi ardeau fiii şi fiicele în foc ca jertfe pentru zeii lor.

Thou shalt not do so to Jehovah thy God; for every abomination to Jehovah, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters have they burned in the fire to their gods.
