P rin urmare, am luat căpetenii din seminţiile voastre, bărbaţi înţelepţi şi cunoscuţi, şi i-am pus conducători peste voi: conducători peste o mie, peste o sută, peste cincizeci şi peste zece oameni; i-am rânduit ca dregători în seminţiile voastre.

So I took the heads of your tribes, wise, experienced, and respected men, and made them heads over you, commanders of thousands, and hundreds, and fifties, and tens, and officers according to your tribes.
