D acă cei din Macedonia ar veni cu mine şi v-ar găsi nepregătiţi, ce ruşine ne-ar fi – ca să nu mai vorbesc despre ruşinea voastră – pentru că am avut o astfel de încredere în voi!

Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.
