D e aceea, aşa cum păcatul a intrat în lume printr-un singur om, iar prin păcat a intrat moartea, şi astfel moartea a trecut la toţi oamenii, prin aceasta toţi au păcătuit.

Therefore as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.
