C ăci, nu demult, s-a ridicat Teudas, care spunea despre sine că este cineva şi căruia i s-au alăturat aproape patru sute de bărbaţi. El a fost omorât, iar toţi cei ce-l urmaseră au fost împrăştiaţi şi nu s-a ales nimic de ei.

For before these days Theudas rose up, making himself out to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were dispersed, and came to nothing.
