D ar iudeii le-au incitat pe femeile devotate, care aveau influenţă, şi pe fruntaşii cetăţii, au stârnit o persecuţie împotriva lui Pavel şi a lui Barnabas şi i-au alungat din ţinuturile lor.

But the Jews stirred up the devout women of high rank and the outstanding men of the town, and instigated persecution against Paul and Barnabas and drove them out of their boundaries.
