Î n noaptea de dinaintea zilei când Irod urma să-l scoată afară, înaintea poporului, Petru dormea între doi soldaţi, legat cu două lanţuri, iar nişte gărzi păzeau închisoarea, stând în faţa porţii.

The night before Herod was to bring him out for his trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers. He was tied with two chains. Soldiers stood by the door and watched the prison.
