I rod s-a bucurat foarte mult când L-a văzut pe Isus, pentru că de multă vreme dorea să-L vadă, din pricina a ceea ce auzise despre El, şi spera să-L vadă înfăptuind vreun semn.

Herod was very glad when he saw Jesus because he had wanted to see Him for a long time. He had heard many things about Him and had hoped to see Him do some powerful work.
