I sus i-a răspuns: – Un om care cobora de la Ierusalim la Ierihon a căzut în mâinile tâlharilor. Ei l-au dezbrăcat, l-au bătut zdravăn şi apoi au plecat, lăsându-l pe jumătate mort.

And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
