P reotul s-o pună pe femeie sub jurământ şi să-i zică: ‘Dacă nici un bărbat nu s-a culcat cu tine şi dacă nu te-ai abătut de la cale ca să trăieşti în necurăţie, în timp ce erai sub autoritatea soţului, atunci să nu-ţi facă nici un rău aceste ape amare care aduc blestem.

And the priest shall charge her by an oath and say unto the woman, If no man has lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone astray from thy husband to uncleanness, thou shalt be clean from this bitter water that brings the curse.
