D ar dacă nu-i veţi izgoni pe locuitorii ţării, aceia pe care îi veţi lăsa să rămână vor fi ca nişte spini în ochii voştri şi ca nişte ghimpi în coaste. Ei vă vor duşmăni în ţara în care veţi locui.

But if ye will not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, those that ye let remain of them shall be thorns in your eyes, and pricks in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land wherein ye dwell.
