P entru că Domnul le spusese acelor israeliţi că vor muri în pustie, nici unul dintre ei n-a mai rămas viu în afară de Caleb, fiul lui Iefune, şi Iosua, fiul lui Nun.

For the Lord had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. There was not left a man of them except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
