A poi Balaam i-a zis lui Balak: „Rămâi aici lângă arderea ta de tot, iar eu mă voi duce mai încolo. Poate Domnul mă va întâlni şi astfel cuvântul pe care mi-l va descoperi ţi-l voi dezvălui şi ţie.“ Şi s-a dus într-un loc mai înalt.

Then Balaam said to Balak, “Stand beside your burnt gift, and I will go. It might be that the Lord will come to me. And whatever He shows me I will tell you.” So he went up to a hill without trees.
