C ând am strigat către Domnul, El a auzit glasul nostru şi a trimis Îngerul care ne-a scos din Egipt; suntem la Kadeş, o cetate aflată la marginea ţinutului tău.

But we cried out to the Lord. He heard our voice and sent an angel and brought us out from Egypt. Now look, we are at Kadesh, a town at the side of your country.
