D e aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Soţia ta va deveni o prostituată în cetate, iar fiii tăi şi fiicele tale vor cădea răpuşi de sabie! Ogorul tău va fi împărţit cu funia de măsurat, şi tu însuţi vei muri pe un meleag necurat. Iar Israel va fi dus, în mod sigur, în captivitate, departe de ţara sa“

Therefore thus says the Lord: Your wife shall be a harlot in the city and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided up by line; you yourself shall die in an unclean and defiled land, and Israel shall surely go forth out of his land into exile.
