E giptul va ajunge pustiu, iar Edomul – un deşert sterp, din cauza violenţei faţă de poporul lui Iuda, în a cărui ţară au vărsat sânge nevinovat.

Egypt a desolation becometh, And Edom a desolation, a wilderness, becometh, For violence sons of Judah, Whose innocent blood they shed in their land.
