D upă perioada de şaizeci şi două de ori câte şapte ani, Unsul va fi nimicit şi nu va avea nimic. Poporul unui conducător care va veni va distruge cetatea şi Sfântul Lăcaş. Sfârşitul lui va fi ca printr-un potop, iar războiul va ţine până la sfârşit. Pustiirile sunt hotărâte.

And after the sixty-two weeks shall the Anointed One be cut off or killed and shall have nothing belonging to Him. And the people of the prince who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood; and even to the end there shall be war, and desolations are decreed.
