S tăpâne, potrivit cu toate lucrările Tale înfăptuite cu dreptate, îndepărtează-Ţi, Te rog, mânia şi furia de la cetatea Ta, Ierusalimul, de la muntele Tău cel sfânt, căci, din pricina păcatelor şi fărădelegilor strămoşilor noştri, a ajuns Ierusalimul şi poporul Tău de ruşinea tuturor celor ce ne înconjoară!

O Lord, according to all Your rightness and justice, I beseech You, let Your anger and Your wrath be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain. Because of our sins and the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a reproach and a byword to all who are around about us.
