Î mpăratul a strigat cu glas tare să fie aduşi descântătorii, astrologii şi ghicitorii. Împăratul le-a zis înţelepţilor Babilonului astfel: „Oricine va citi scrierea aceasta şi-mi va spune interpretarea ei, va fi îmbrăcat în purpură, va avea un lanţ de aur la gât şi va fi al treilea la conducerea împărăţiei. “

The king cried aloud to bring in the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. The king spoke and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whoever shall read this writing, and show me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
