C hiar în clipa aceea s-a şi împlinit cuvântul rostit împotriva lui Nebucadneţar. El a fost alungat dintre oameni şi a mâncat iarbă ca boii. Trupul lui a fost udat de roua cerului, până când i-a crescut părul ca penele vulturului şi unghiile – ca ghearele păsărilor.

`In that hour the thing hath been fulfilled on Nebuchadnezzar, and from men he is driven, and the herb as oxen he eateth, and by the dew of the heavens his body is wet, till that his hair as eagles' hath become great, and his nails as birds.'
