I ată care sunt măsurile în coţi ale altarului, cotul acesta fiind mai mare cu un lat de palmă decât cotul obişnuit: jgheabul este de un cot adâncime şi un cot lăţime, cu o margine, de jur împrejur, de o palmă. Iată care este înălţimea altarului:

And these are the measures of the altar in cubits: the cubit is a cubit and a hand breadth. The bottom was a cubit and the breadth a cubit, and its border on the edge thereof round about, one span: and this was the base of the altar.
