E u, Domnul, îi voi răspunde fiecărui bărbat din Casa lui Israel şi fiecărui străin care locuieşte în Israel, care s-au despărţit de Mine, şi-au înălţat idolii în inimă şi şi-au aşezat înainte propria lor nelegiuire ca pricină de cădere, iar apoi au venit la profet ca să-l întrebe despre Mine.

For any man of the house of Israel or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel who has separated himself from walking after me and has set up his idols in his heart and has established the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face and comes to the prophet to enquire of him concerning me, I, the LORD, will answer him by myself:
