V oi îndepărta rămăşiţa lui Iuda, care s-a dus în ţara Egiptului să locuiască acolo. Vor pieri cu toţii în ţara Egiptului: vor fi ucişi de sabie sau de foamete. De la cel mai mic până la cel mai mare vor fi ucişi de sabie sau de foamete. Vor deveni o pricină de scârbă şi de groază, o pricină de blestem şi de dispreţ.


And I will take away the remnant of Judah who have set their faces to come into the land of Egypt to dwell here temporarily, and they will all be consumed and will fall in the land of Egypt; they will be consumed by the sword and by famine. From the least even to the greatest, they shall die by the sword and by famine. And they will be a detestable thing, an astonishment, a curse, and a reproach (an object of horror, reviling, and taunts).
