I ată Cuvântul care a venit la Ieremia din partea Domnului în timp ce Nebucadneţar, împăratul Babilonului, împreună cu toată oştirea lui, cu toate regatele pământului aflate sub dominaţia lui şi cu toate celelalte popoare luptau împotriva Ierusalimului şi împotriva cetăţilor dimprejurul lui:
