– Ai lepădat Tu de tot pe Iuda şi a urât sufletul Tău atât de mult Sionul? De ce ne-ai lovit în aşa fel încât nu mai avem vindecare? Noi aşteptam pacea, dar nimic bun nu a venit; aşteptam un timp de vindecare, dar iată că a venit numai groaza!

Have You utterly rejected Judah? Has Your soul loathed Zion? Why have You stricken us so that there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but there was no good; And for the time of healing, and there was trouble.
