E u nu am vorbit în ascuns, în vreun colţ întunecos al pământului; nu am zis urmaşilor lui Iacov: ‘Căutaţi-Mă în zadar!’ Eu, Domnul, spun adevărul, fac cunoscut ce este drept.

I have not spoken in secret, in a corner of the land of darkness; I did not call the descendants of Jacob, saying, Seek Me for nothing. I, the Lord, speak righteousness (the truth—trustworthy, straightforward correspondence between deeds and words); I declare things that are right.
