D oamne, pleacă-Ţi urechea şi ascultă! Doamne, deschide-Ţi ochii şi priveşte! Auzi toate cuvintele pe care Sanherib le-a trimis ca să-L batjocorească pe Dumnezeul cel Viu!

Incline thine ear, O Jehovah, and hear; open, Jehovah, thine eyes, and see; and hear all the words of Sennacherib, who hath sent to reproach the living God.
