A tunci Eliachim, Şebna şi Ioah i-au răspuns lui Rab-Şache: – Vorbeşte, te rugăm, slujitorilor tăi în aramaică, pentru că o înţelegem, şi nu ne vorbi în limba iudaică, în auzul poporului care este pe zid!

And Eliakim and Shebna and Joah said to Rab-shakeh, Speak, we pray thee, to thy servants in Syriac, for we understand it; and speak not to us in the Jewish in the ears of the people that are upon the wall.
