I ată ce am înţeles eu că este bine şi frumos: ca omul să mănânce, să bea şi să trăiască bine de pe urma întregii lui osteneli pe care a depus-o sub soare în timpul puţinelor zile ale vieţii sale, pe care Dumnezeu i le-a dat, căci aceasta este partea sa.

This is what I have seen to be good and right: to eat and to drink and be happy in all the work one does under the sun during the few years of his life which God has given him. For this is his reward.
