M i-am cumpărat sclavi şi sclave şi am avut sclavi născuţi în casă; am avut turme – vite şi oi – am avut mai multe dobitoace decât toţi cei ce fuseseră înainte de mine la Ierusalim.

I got men-servants, and maid-servants, and sons of the house were to me; also, I had much substance -- herd and flock -- above all who had been before me in Jerusalem.
