A mram a luat-o de soţie pe Iochebed, sora tatălui său. Ea i-a născut lui Amram pe Aaron şi pe Moise. Durata vieţii lui Amram a fost de o sută treizeci şi şapte de ani.

And Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years.
