C ând Dumnezeu a terminat de vorbit cu Moise pe muntele Sinai, i-a dat acestuia cele două table ale Mărturiei, table de piatră scrise cu degetul lui Dumnezeu.

He gave to Moses, when he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets, written with God’s finger.
